Research Team

I direct the Machine Intelligence and Information Visualization Lab (MintViz), an interdisciplinary research laboratory focused on advancing knowledge in natural, meaningful, accessible interactions among humans, computers, and environments. To this end, we explore key topics in HCI and AmI, including the application of machine learning techniques to interaction and visualization, design of gesture interactions, prototyping new interactive techniques for mobile and wearable devices, design of novel user experiences in smart environments and exteded reality.
